There was a time when I no longer recognized myself. Behind closed doors, I was facing battles nobody knew about. But somewhere between my faith, my pain, and the belief that I deserved more, I made a decision that changed everything. I chose life. And I learned that beginning again doesn’t mean returning to where I started.

Healing didn’t begin when life became easier. It began the moment I gave myself permission to stop surviving and start rebuilding. This is where my story begins.

This should probably be the deepest of the four. Some behaviors protected you in previous seasons of overthinking, always preparing for something to go wrong, holding everything yourself, staying in situations too long, reacting from fear, functioning in survival mode. But something can have helped you survive and still not belong in the life you’re creating now.
